El Grito 2010

My family and I headed over to Downtown LA for El Grito. After having a great dinner at my dad's condo we walked 13 blocks down the street to the Nokia Center (across from the Staples Center) for El Grito. Your probably thinking what is El Grito? "The Grito de Dolores ("Cry of Dolores") was the battle cry of the Mexican War of Independence also known as El Grito de la Independencia ("Cry of Independence"), uttered on September 16, 1810 by Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, a Roman Catholic priest from the small town of Dolores, near Guanajuato." Heres a few pictures of our walk to the Nokia Center.

Outside my dads condo

They filmed one of my movies here: Italian Job

Never knew there was a WTC in Downtown LA

Thought this was cool... the numbers stand for "I LOVE YOU"

Old Fire Station that turned into a restaurant, cant wait to try it

Couldn't get into the actual site, but got a back view where the fence was slightly open

R.I.P Chick. (LAKER CHAMPS 2011, I feel it already)

A little More Country Than That...

After spending the day at home doing some fall cleaning. We headed on over to the park and went for a little hike on the trails, the setting and outfit was more than perfect.

Thank you buddy for being mommy's little model. :)

P.s.- A special thank you to my aunt Tammy for giving Kaden this cowboy hat.

Picnic at Mason Willam's Park

A few days ago I took my family to Mason Willam's Park in Irvine for a little picnic to enjoy the sunset, and feed the ducks. Looking back at these pictures makes me feel so grateful for everything I have been given.

YES! Thats drool coming from her mouth.

How fun would it be to get a good book and read at this bench?

The Josenhan's Family

"As they enter the room with spirits entwined,
They are a family, uniquely combined.

The warmth they share seems to fill with pride,
They are a family, they stand side by side.

It just doesn't happen spontaneously,
This family so close, emotionally.

They live and they love, always showing they care,
Through the good times and the bad, together they share.

And now at this time, so happily rejoicing,
Expressing so clearly the love they are endorsing.

They stand as a family, and always shall be,
Like links on a chain, like leaves on a tree.

Connected by feelings of love they all know,
Filled with trust and respect,
Through the years as they grow."

Love you,
Shareen
