Its lookin' alot like Christmas!

I couldn't wait for this time of the year to get here any quicker! This Christmas is going to be a BLAST with Kaden. Heres a few photos we are going to use for our Christmas Cards this year.

Dear Kaden

"Dear Kaden,

Today you are 19-Months old!  It seems like just yesterday we were taking you home from the hospital and worried on that drive home.  I honestly can’t believe a year and half has gone by so quickly.  I hope time starts slowing down so that we can savor all of these moments with you.

 I hope you know how much I love you and what a delight you are in my life.  I look at you swinging away and grunting right now and I smile.  You really are the greatest gift from up above and I hope that I show you that daily.

You are growing up so fast!  Your already running around the house and trying to talk as much as you can. 

I want you to know that when you look into my eyes when I’m talking you, I melt.  You have the most beautiful eyes I’ve ever seen.  So deep and so colorful.  Just perfect.

There’s so much that I want for you in your life, but I guess we have time to get into that in the future.  I don’t want to rush things… After all, you are only a year and half, so let’s just enjoy that milestone!

Just know that you are the most perfect little boy in the world.  Thanks for bearing with me as I learn this whole mom thing & I promise that things will just keep on getting better for all of us!  One day at a time, right?

So as you sleep the night away right, I hope that you are having sweet dreams and I’ll be right there when you wake up.

In The Process...

I'm currently in the process of making my ugly sweater for a Thanksgiving party tomorrow night. I wanted to share with you all the fabric that is going into this sweater.

Kaden's First Pumpkin Carving!

Kaden got to carve his first pumpkin and of course it had to be ELMO! When he was done carving out Elmo he grabbed the book and pointed to Bert for me to do. Its not as good as Kaden's Elmo but hey I tried. Enjoy!

Kristen & Steve soon to be three

Yesterday I had the honor of taking pictures of one of my girlfriends, who is expecting! We took pictures at an fun park in Trabuco Canyon, where her husband Steve grew up. How fun will it be when they look back at these pictures and daddy can tell his son "I used to run around in these hills." And now little baby Steven Arthur Lorenzo Mode can play hide-n-seek with his friends in the hills too. Daddy Steve I can already tell is going to be an amazing father. The minute we met up he was so excited to do this shoot, he couldn't stop rubbing Kristen's belly, let alone kissing the belly. It was so adorable to watch. Mommy Kristen your going to make a magnificent mother. Your love for life, friends, family, your husband and watching how you couldn't keep your hands off your tummy, shows your love for your sweet baby to be. I can only imagine how much love your going to have for baby Steven. I wish you both the best. Kristen I pray you have a safe and easy labor.
